We provide trained volunteers
Hospice can provide trained volunteers to provide companionship and an understanding heart to assist the individual and their family with household chores and errands.
Volunteers lend a hand to provide a break for family members and time away for primary caregivers. Volunteers can do many various activities with the patients from listening and reading to playing cards.
Hospice volunteers’ main job is to help the patient and their family with their own specific needs.
Hope Hospice also has volunteers that provide office help, and do many things such as photocopying, helping with mailings, fundraising and making deliveries.
